Bloomsbury Auctions was founded in 1983 to provide a dedicated auction business for works on paper, primarily with an emphasis on books and manuscripts. A strategic merger with arts, antiques & collectibles specialists Dreweatts saw both companies expand their reach and their ability to bring expertise to bear onto almost all areas of collecting. Most recently the group was acquired by Noble Investments, increasing its market share and position and further expanding on their global services.
